Edits for smartphones and tablets
I hope you are as excited as we are about starting your YSOB website! Before we get started, though, I want to share a few things with you. It is important that you read the following information carefully and watch the videos before you start editing your website.
Global Settings
Read this before you begin changing fonts and colors manually. Elementor uses ‘Global Settings’ to determine what color and font to use. By using these settings, you can easily change the look of all pages at once. However, you can manually change the look of a block to override these global settings. It is important to remember that once you have manually edited it, you can’t overwrite it with global settings. I will explain this in more detail in the video below. More information about the Global Settings can be find in the lesson: Logo, Colors and Fonts.
What to do when you make a mistake
You might make some mistakes along the way if you are learning by trial and error. In the video below I will describe how to easily correct mistakes.
Lost your password?
It happens to the best of us: we forget our website password. Do not worry, retrieving your login credentials is very easy. Visit your website’s login link (yourwebsite.com/wp-admin) and click on Forgot Password? An email with a reset link will be sent to your email address.
Before you launch…
Check out the lesson on launching a website before you launch one. This lesson will not only show you how to launch your website, but also provide a checklist that is extremely helpful. Keep this checklist handy to ensure nothing gets missed.
