Editing the main menu

Lesson: Editing the Menu in Your YSOB Site

Step 1: Access the YSOB Site Dashboard

  • Open your web browser and log in to your YSOB website.

Step 2: Click on the Menu Button

  • In the YSOB site dashboard, look for the “Menu” button and click on it.

Step 3: Edit Menu Items

  • The menu editor will open, displaying the current menu structure.
  • To edit an existing menu item, click on it to reveal the editing options.
  • You can change the label, URL, and other settings of the menu item.

Step 4: Customize the Menu Structure

  • To add a new menu item, click on the “Add Items” button.
  • Select the type of item you want to add, such as a page, category, custom link, etc.
  • Fill in the necessary details for the new menu item.

  • To rearrange the menu items, simply click and drag them to the desired position.

  • If you want to create a submenu, drag a menu item slightly to the right below another menu item. This will create a nested structure.

Step 5: Save the Changes

  • Once you have finished editing and customizing the menu, click the “Save Menu” button to save your changes.

  • Preview your YSOB site to see the updated menu.

Congratulations! You have successfully edited the menu in your YSOB site using the menu button in the dashboard. By accessing the menu editor, you can modify existing menu items, add new items, rearrange the menu structure, and create submenus according to your needs.
